Radiator Coolness

I have had identical engine cooling problems with several different cars. Each time, the problem was in the radiator. Have your radiator either re-cored or rodded out, and this should bring cooling back to normal operating parameters.


Thanks for the tip. Actually, I thought of that as a possibility myself, and have purchased another radiator to experiment with as time allows. Another problem with my car is that the water temperature gauge reads about 40 degrees higher than the actual temperature of the coolant, making it difficult to tell when the engine is about to overheat. -Glenn.
