Subject: The Saint forever!

.

Dear P1800 lovers of around the world,

I am writing for some advice on the P1800.

I have recently bought a 1965 P1800 in excellent condition and am thinking of selling my other car (finance probs), and using the Saint as an everyday car.

Do you think the Saint will have no problems, and if you have used it as an everyday car, what types of things commonly go wrong?

Regards,

Jonathan-

If the car really is in excellent condition, you should have few problems, but any car over the age of three years will require work occasionally. A thirty-year-old car will need work more often, and weekly maintenance is required, like checking fluid levels in the engine compartment, tire pressures and whatnot. If you plan to keep the car, it is most practical to make sure that minor squeaks, rattles and bumps don't become major hassles through neglect. -Glenn.
