More '68 Restoration Photos

Date: October 10, 2004

Hello Glenn,

Sending more pictures. These detail the following: GM alternator can be seen in the picture, 63 amp, also Optima battery. The Crane optical ignition unit and ignition coil are mounted on the choke lever unit. Also sending picture of the "mouth" of the car where the remote oil filter, electric fan and oil cooler are installed. This was a tight squeeze but it works so well. The fan is a perma cool 12 inch unit that is mounted to the car with brackets I made. There is only 1/16 inch clearance top and bottom of front radiator support bulkhead for the fan. The remote oil filter is a perma cool unit. The adapter (oil lines to engine) is a one piece unit from John Parker. Don't use cheap cast adapters here! The oil lines and fittings are aero AN Number 8, 9/16 inch ID.

I hope you will be able to place the car pictures on your site. After 6 years of work on and off, the car is complete. I have logged around 400 miles on the car now. I can say at least for me it has taken hours and hours of work, there's no rushing.

Thanks
